Antonia's story

Born in London, England, Antonia emigrated to Canada almost three decades ago. At age five, she won her first writing competition: a Cadbury’s Bournville essay on the production of chocolate. Her mother tells her that she so loved the prize (three months’ supply of chocolate, devoured in one week), that she was motivated to place as a winner in the competition in the following three years as well.

Upon emigrating to Canada, That Communications Gal began a long career in public relations and marketing. This included a two-year appointment as director of public relations for Vancouver General Hospital, the production of a regular newspaper column, and winning several awards for annual reports and other corporate presentations. She now specializes in the fields of consumer health and anti-aging and still loves chocolate.
